What is the purpose of your art? Mass Destruction of the foundations that bind us.
How would you classify your work (street art, urban art, etc.) and why? Destroy all Design is a philosophy. I believe in unlearning everything you have learned to reach enlightenment. Only then can you ever rebuild your true self. Only then will you ever be free. My art represents control and the myriad of connotations surrounding it.
How/when did you first start? Started out in 1980’s doing illegal graffiti for many years. Left the graff world in the early 90’s only to return in the 2K destroying city blocks with the Destroy All Design art movement. I am an LA native.
Where do you draw your inspirations from? My influences are the 80s and Heavy Metal. I follow the universal graffiti code when it comes to street art. I draw inspiration from many thing including comic books, Kustom Kulture, Skate Board art, Kung Fu Theatre, Japanese Anime, and bad album art.
The best piece that you’ve created and why? The best piece I ever created was on the streets. It’s a 35 foot art installation wall completed adorned with joysticks. It’s the best because it lives in the wild. It is not safe, could be stolen or even destroyed by people. That is what make it so important to me, it remains organic. It invites expression.
